This Data Request Policy provides government agencies, law enforcement authorities, and private parties — including civil litigants and criminal defendants — with information about how Zentarias Technologies LLC handles formal requests for Customer Data.

OVERVIEW

This Policy describes how Zentarias Technologies LLC ("Zentarias," "we," "our," or "us") responds to formal and informal requests for Customer Data received from third parties, including government agencies, law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies, civil litigants, and criminal defendants.

As a general principle, any third party seeking access to Customer Data should direct its request to the Customer directly. Customers retain access to and control over their own Customer Data and are best positioned to evaluate and respond to such requests. Zentarias's role is that of a data custodian acting on behalf of the Customer.

Zentarias's default position is to protect Customer Data and to decline third-party data requests wherever legally permissible. We take our role as data custodian seriously and will assert all appropriate objections on behalf of our Customers.

REQUESTS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES

If you are a law enforcement agency or governmental authority seeking access to Customer Data held by Zentarias Technologies LLC, please direct your request to our designated law enforcement response team at:

soporte@zentarias.com

All law enforcement requests must include the following identifying information:

  • Official badge number and/or case number assigned to the investigation or proceeding
  • Name and contact information of the requesting officer or agent
  • Name and jurisdiction of the law enforcement agency submitting the request
  • A clear description of the Customer Data sought and the legal basis for the request
  • Any applicable court order, warrant, or other legal instrument authorizing the request
Requests that do not include the required identifying information may experience significant delays or may not receive a response. Zentarias reserves the right to require additional verification before processing any law enforcement request.

SERVICE OF LEGAL PROCESS IN THE UNITED STATES

If you intend to serve Zentarias Technologies LLC with formal legal process — including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, or other compulsory legal instruments — you are required to serve Zentarias's registered agent for service of process.

Juan Pablo Arias Caicedo

To minimize processing delays, please also send a courtesy copy of the legal process by email to: legal@zentarias.com

Zentarias does not accept service of civil legal process via fax or email alone. Personal service through the registered agent is required. Service by any unauthorized method will not be considered effective and may not receive a response.

HOW ZENTARIAS HANDLES REQUESTS FOR CUSTOMER DATA

Upon receipt of any request for Customer Data, Zentarias conducts a thorough review to assess the request's validity and compliance with applicable law. In the majority of cases, Zentarias objects to or declines to produce Customer Data in response to third-party requests. Common grounds for objection include, but are not limited to:

  • Defective or improper service of process
  • Failure to adequately domesticate out-of-state or international legal process
  • The request would require Zentarias to violate the federal Stored Communications Act (18 U.S.C. § 2701 et seq.) or other applicable federal or state privacy statutes
  • The requested information is protected by attorney-client privilege, the attorney work-product doctrine, or any other applicable legal privilege
  • The request seeks confidential, proprietary, or commercially sensitive information, including trade secrets or data whose disclosure would violate privacy rights or breach legal or contractual obligations
  • The requested information is already publicly available or equally accessible through other means
  • The request is overly broad, vague, or ambiguous in its scope
  • The request lacks sufficient specificity to identify or locate the records sought

Unless legally prohibited from doing so, Zentarias will notify the affected Customer upon receipt of a request for their data, providing the Customer with a reasonable opportunity to seek legal relief prior to any disclosure.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, if Zentarias reasonably believes that information in its possession is necessary to prevent an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm to any person — including in situations involving kidnapping, active missing persons cases, or credible suicide risk — Zentarias may, in its sole discretion, provide relevant information to an appropriate government agency.
